This notice explains what personal data is processed when you visit this website, and why. Personal data is any information that can be used to identify a specific individual.

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States. When you open a page, your browser automatically sends technical data that Vercel's servers process in order to deliver the site and keep it secure: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, and your browser and operating system. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in running a stable and secure website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Vercel processes this data on my behalf as a data processor. Data may be processed in the United States. Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has recognised as providing an adequate level of data protection.

4. Visitor statistics and loading speed

To see which pages are visited and how fast they load, this website uses two services from Vercel (see section 3). Neither of them uses cookies or stores anything on your device, and neither can recognise you on other websites or link your visits over time.

• Vercel Web Analytics records for each page view: the time, the page, the page you came from, your approximate location (country, region, city), your browser, your operating system and the type of device. To count visitors, a hash is computed from the incoming request. It is discarded after 24 hours, and the records are not associated with your IP address.
• Vercel Speed Insights records how quickly a page loaded and responded, together with the page, your browser, your operating system, the type of device, your network speed and your country.

I only see this data in aggregated form. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used and in keeping it fast (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You can object to this processing at any time using the contact details above.

5. Cookies and fonts

This website does not use cookies, and no advertising or cross-site tracking tools. Fonts are served by this website itself, so your browser does not contact third parties such as Google to load them.

6. Contacting me

If you write to me by email, I process the information you provide in order to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). I do not pass it on to anyone else.

7. Links to other websites

This website links to my profiles on other platforms. These are plain links: no data is sent to those platforms until you follow one, and from then on their own privacy policies apply.

8. Your rights

You have the right to obtain information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of processing at any time and free of charge. You also have the right to have this data corrected, restricted or deleted, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to its processing. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For any of this, contact me at the address above.

9. Retention and deletion

I process and store your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law. Once that purpose no longer applies or a statutory retention period expires, the data is deleted in accordance with the law.
